Arrival of your flight at La Aurora International Airport (GUA).

There, a private transportation will be waiting to take you directly to La Antigua, where the group will begin to gather to begin the trip.

In the evening the whole group will meet for the first time for our welcome dinner.

Our first day in Central America begins early, with a delicious breakfast that we will share as a group.

Our goal today is to tour the city of La Antigua.

Together with our local guide we will leisurely tour the most beautiful and interesting places in the city. We will visit landmarks, churches, convents and galleries.

After breakfast, our private transportation will take us to a nearby town to get to know two great bases of Guatemalan life: food and coffee.

We will learn about grain planting, harvesting and grinding, while tasting delicious freshly brewed Guatemalan coffee.

Later we will put our culinary skills to the test. We will taste the authentic local flavors, learn how to use traditional utensils and try traditional dishes.

Today we will get a little more adventurous.

After breakfast we headed to one of the spectacular volcanoes in the area, the Pacaya Volcano.

Always together with a specialized guide, we will begin our march towards one of the slopes of the volcano, to see this spectacular phenomenon more closely.

At night our destination is La Casa del Ron, where we will do a fun rum tasting and enjoy dinner with the entire group together.

Today we will get up early.

We will take our belongings and our private transportation will take us to Lake Atitlan.

Along the way we will visit one of the last great Mayan capitals, where we will participate in an ancestral ceremony and explore the spirituality of this culture in first person.

Once we arrive at the hotel we can rest, explore and appreciate the wonderful views, until it is time for dinner and we meet again.

Today we will visit some of the towns that surround the lake. We will visit art galleries and textile cooperatives managed by women.

In the afternoon we will enjoy the tranquility of the lake and the spectacular landscape.

At night, we will meet again to enjoy our group dinner.

Today we will get to work.

After breakfast we will visit San Antonio Palopo where we will explore the wonders of cocoa.

Later we will get our hands dirty learning about the ceramic techniques used by the residents of the lake.

In the afternoon a little enjoyment and relaxation in the pool and at night, our usual group dinner.

After breakfast we say goodbye to this charming place and head towards Guatemala City.

Along the way we will explore one of the largest and oldest markets in the country and learn more about the importance of the exchange of products between indigenous peoples.

In the evening our last group dinner will take place in a modern and relaxed place that we have specially chosen.
