Itinerary

Here’s a first look at how our days together might unfold. The final itinerary may change slightly to adapt to the group and local surprises.

  • We land in the country of good energy, dreamy sunsets and tropical beaches.
Today is about recharging after the flight, slowing down and enjoying our first group dinner together.

  • We head towards Arenal, stopping in Grecia and Sarchí to see how life feels outside the capital.
Between colorful churches, local crafts and rural roads, we arrive in La Fortuna, our base to explore the area.

  • We experience the jungle from above: zip-lines, misty forest and volcano views that wake you up better than coffee.
In the afternoon we slow things down with a cacao experience, tasting chocolate the traditional way, from bean to cup.

  • We walk across hanging bridges surrounded by tree canopies, clouds and jungle sounds.

Then it’s time for a road trip to the Pacific coast: we swap deep green for sea breeze and reach the beaches of Guanacaste.

  • A full day to enjoy one of the calmest beaches in the area.
Sand, ocean, palm trees and no schedule: read, nap, talk, float, or simply stare at the water.

  • We move on to Sámara, a laid-back beach town right by the bay.
We walk the shoreline, swim, and if you feel like it, you can add kayaking, paddle boarding… or more towel time.

  • We travel to Nosara, known for its wide beaches, surf culture and wellness vibe.
The day is about walking barefoot, watching the sun drop into the Pacific and understanding why so many people “stay a bit longer” here.

  • We leave the Nicoya Peninsula and follow the coast, crossing the famous Friendship Bridge.
We end the day in the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area, where thick jungle meets the ocean.

  • We explore the park: easy trails, viewpoints and pale-sand beaches framed by forest.
With a bit of luck, we’ll spot monkeys, sloths and other locals just going about their day while we go about ours.

  • We take the coastal road back to the Central Valley, with last glimpses of sea and mountains from the window.
Final night in the city to wrap up the trip, share what this week has meant and say goodbye to Costa Rica in our own way.

  • Free morning depending on your flight time: last coffee, last wander, or just a quiet moment to take it all in.
Transfer to the airport and the end of this version of you traveling through Costa Rica with us.

KEY questions

  • This is exactly the point! Our trips are designed to bring together women with similar interests who may not know each other yet — to share a beautiful travel experience and create real sisterhood.
We have an interview process to make sure everyone joining is aligned and the vibe is just right.
If you choose to share a room (and go for the double occupancy option), our matching system helps you find your ideal roommate — someone you’ll likely connect with from day one.

  • All Orígenes trips are built around the same idea: experiencing each destination authentically, honestly, and with depth.
But it’s also our time to relax and treat ourselves — so we’ve found the perfect balance.
Think boutique stays, slow travel, immersive activities, and time for yourself.
One day it’s a beautiful dinner with wine, the next it’s tasting street food at a local market.
For us, true luxury means presence, connection, and authenticity.

  • Most of our travelers are women between 35 and 50 (though all ages are welcome!) who are looking for something different — something deeper than your typical touristy trip.
They crave authentic, immersive experiences. They want to expand their circle, meet like-minded women, and create real, meaningful connections that last.

  • To save your spot, just fill out the BOOK HERE form (you’ll find it right in this section once bookings open).
Once submitted, we’ll send you a secure payment link by email.
The deposit is € 500 per person (non-refundable).
Once your payment is received, your spot is confirmed!
The rest of the payment is due 60 days before the trip.
You can also make smaller advance payments along the way if that’s easier.
Just note: depending on when you book, your first payment may need to be higher than the deposit.

  • Flights aren’t included in the trip cost — you’ll book them on your own, and we’ll guide you through it.
Once you’ve reserved your spot, we’ll confirm when you can purchase your flight (we need at least 6 confirmed travelers before we green-light bookings).
We’ll tell you exactly which airport and arrival time work best with the itinerary.
We always recommend flexible or refundable tickets, just in case.
Please wait until we send our go-ahead before booking your flight — we want everything to run smoothly!
